Welcome to this forum which purpose is to share experiences, views and inform members on the French cultural community in Toronto.

In order to maintain the forum in "good order", the users are asked to meet the following requirements:

Forum conduct

1. Topics and opinions expressed in this forum belong to their authors, and except in the "Loft" section, posts must be coherent with the overall subject of the forum.

2. The use of abusive, racist, xenophobic, anti-Semitic comments, racial slurs, or any other intolerant posts, remarks is strictly forbidden on this forum.

3. In all and any circumstances, do remain courteous and show propriety and politeness towards other forum members.

4. In order to avoid repeats on topics already covered (before asking a question), it is highly recommended to search the forum to see if a topic already answers your question.

5. Advertising in all forms (SPAM, hidden ads, etc.) is not allowed in the forum without the consent of a moderator or administrator. However links to personal websites in the user profile and/or signature are allowed if unobtrusive.

6. For your information, it is advised not to include any personal email address in the posts to avoid receiving spam.

Readability

To ensure a good readability of message title and content:

7. The length of your messages is unlimited in the forum. Please do refrain from using SMS or chat language form. A phonetic alphabet already exists to this end. Please write in proper English avoiding too many mistakes (please proofread yourself before posting).

8. Do not write everything in CAPS, your message will appear aggressive, and one will feel less inclined to answer your message in a kind manner.

9. Please do air out your messages using line feed to ensure easier reading.

10. While starting a new thread/subject, please post it in the right forum section. Please use an understandable subject/topic title that describes the overall subject of your post/message.

11. Please do post your message in one section only. Do not post the same message more than once.

12. As a courtesy to non bilingual forum members, please post your answers using the same language as the initial message.

Generally speaking, members are expected to follow the "NetEtiquette".
